What kind of tires are you running? I need to get some new tires for my 5.0 and I'm looking for what I should get. Give me some recommendations

I was thinking of going for these. I take it you like them a lot?

What was the mileage like on the falkens? My car is a daily driver as well

I had some kumho Excsta mx's on my cobra before I blew it up. I think those are my favorite tire so far! excellent dry traction, decent wet traction, look good, and pretty reasonable. Check em out

lol. If I had the money I would get another set of rims and throw some MT's on there so I could use them at the track and stuff. But I need something more for my daily driver

Oh, so your Mustang has no power. With the tires you posted, I'd blow away the tires at 50% throttle... on the motor.

I daily drive M/T's in the summer, maybe because I don't have a vagina. I still spin them hitting the bottle out of the hole. Thats why I've got a set of M/T ET Drags for the strip.

Oh, and if you're thinking about pulling the "handling" arguement out for your selection of wimpy tires; if I wanted a car to take a turn, I sure as hell wouldn't be driving a F-body or a Mustang.

Blown and 405 rwhp, nice! Mine put down 411 rwhp all motor out of an stock head casting and stock cubic inch LT1. Then more times that not, it's got the 150 pills in.

I drive my MT's in the rain with no problems, and its not my problem that he can't afford proper tires.

I launch mine on my 7.5" 10 bolt, and no one believes it until they see it. I guess thats the miracle of a auto with a 4000 stall torque converter. It must be magic to last these past 4 seasons of 1.59-1.62 60's on the motor, and even harder on the bottle. I will admit though, thats on a wing and a prayer. I've been waiting to replace it with a 12 bolt, but it just won't give up the ghost.

Oh yeah, you're totally right, I know nothing about the suspension and I manage to put 600 rwtq on the bottle down to the ground with stock GM shit. [/sarcasm]

Do us all a favor in the muscle car community and sell your turd because 405 rwhp blown is pathetic. Buy a 03/04 Cobra, buy tires, intake, exhaust, pulley, and the bottle and enjoy your 10.90's. Then again I'd still be a car, or car and a half ahead of you then in my decade old piece of shit.

You must have a horeshoe wedged in you ass if you haven't blown you motor or rear yet.

I made 402 to the wheels just changing the cam:mamoru:

BFG KDW or KDWS. I use them in the winter months to get around and they do reasonably well.

I meant that I drive it in the outside of winter. I'll drive in rain and such, but I put it away for the winter when snow rolls around
