    How fast do they run with all the bolt-ons (including the pulley) and say a 150 shot of gas??? I'm curious.

    I don't think I'd go that far.... but the Cobra's do handle well.

    Great car.

    Oh, and it's already a 12-second car bone stock. So that's pretty much squared away.

    Is this a general fact finding mission, or just a way to stir some shit up? :o

    I don't really care about dyno numbers. Supra's are the perfect example of that. I can run a 9 second pass with 550rwhp in an f-body vs. 800+ that it takes in a Supra.... seems that all boosted cars are in that boat.

    But, 10's for minor bolt-ons and a 150 shot are pretty good. I should still be able to take a built Cobra on the gas if I spray my car.... but motor on blower it should be a decent race.

    High 12's for the Cobra, and low to mid 12's for the Z06 depending on the driver.

    03 Cobra
    $34,000
    12.7 Quarter mile

    03 Z06
    $51,000
    12.5 Quarter mile

    Z06 is a better all round car though. Just keep in mind that there's a $15,000+ dollar difference. The Cobra is also Super Charged, which is a plus to certain people.

    Hey! I'd take the Cobra over any other car (if it's my money).

    The Mustang has some advantages.
    * Much cheaper.
    * Can go faster for less.
    * Solid V8 built to be Super Charged along with factory warranty.
    * Style (subjective)
    * Better sounding
    * Affordable 400hp car.

    I loved the Mustang for the longest time. In fact, I have owned 3 of them in the past 10 years. Please, don't tell me that I'm a bandwagon Ford person.

    You can fit three girls in the Cobra(4 if they're Asian) vs. 1(if she's Asian) in the Vette :fawk:

    i like awd...

    when it saves thousands of dollars and lots of hours for conversion i care.

    then again, i would be buying some nice ohlins coilovers and a bunch of suspension stuff, if i wanted to drag i would buy a fat, pos v8.

    actually, i think i would take a nissan sentra ser, because they are gods 2nd project after he ported the heads of the b18c5.

    They are the best bang for buck outside of CA, Los Angeles area.

    Around here they are trying to sell the things for 40k+ not worth that much, I would pay 28-30k but no more. The dealer right by me "Chino Hills Ford" actually bought their entire stock of Cobra's just to turn around and mark them up to 45k when they first came out.
