Muscle Milk v.bestwaytouse?

    I always see the drinks in the gym, and see some of my class mates drinking it. I wanted to know the proper way to use it/how to? I know you just drink it, but is it just like an energy drink where you just chug it?

    basically it's a liquid high protein food (high fat too). You drink it whenever you want to increase your daily protein intake so you help build/maintain the your muscles. Pre and post workout are typically the best times to drink protein drinks. Muscle milk is way over priced and too high in calories for my personal liking.

    Thanks. I just see it all over and was wondering the proper use. I did see the high fat rating and it scared me away. But I guess with enough cardio, weight, and proper food intake it could be good.

    There's plenty of other protein powders you can use too, depending on your goal.

    it doesnt have much saturated fat.. and fat isnt going to kill you based on the amount it has..

    it has surprisingly low carbs/sugar considering how good it tastes..

    12g carbs per 32g protein is pretty decent.

    i ordered some mass milk (and hopefully i recieve it), which is kinda like muscle milk... and i've used mass meal before...

    I only use one scoop at a time (as opposed to the suggested 2 scoops) and I drink it as a breakfast-type drink with water :dunno:
    pretty good mix of protein/fat to start my day with and, unlike whey protein drinks, i'm not hungry immediately after

    i take 2 scoops for breakfast. im one of those people who have no appetite to eat in the morning.


    theirs also a mucsle milk light version which has fewer calories.

    My sister is one of those people who don't have an appetite in the morning and she can't do anything about it. She's also the kind of person that's annoying and agressive in the morning, she can't do anything about it either. I wonder what she can do sometimes.

    Yeah, I sometimes sip on some diet coke to jump start my taste buds and appetite.

    re - QFT.

    I used to be like that - I found out two things:

    1) I wasn't getting enough sleep and my stomach was queasy for lack of sleep. I am very disciplined now - if I have to get up by six, I am in bed no later than 10.

    2) Now that I eat breakfast, I am hungrier then than any other time of the day. A sensible breakfast is the best day starter there is. Actually, I prefer, when possible, to work out early morning. A good apple when I first wake up, a work out, and then a good breakfast is wonderful.
