Just got home from seeing it.
Awesome movie with a great ending to it.
the real story didnt have a great ending.
but then i heard it is more about how they were hunting the terrorists or so.... and not so much about the thing that happened in munich.
i thought it was really good, until the last 30 minutes, i thought the ending kinda drug on. i'd still reccomend it tho, thats all i can say bad about it
I thought it was a great movie. The sex scene was a little , but what else do you expect from Spielberg. Good movie though.
What a shame for that female spy. She was hot.
A bit gory...if you're squeemish, don't see it. Other than that, it sort of pulled you in, like all great movies doe. 9/10
pretty good movie but the end did start to drag after a while.
Good movie, but the first half-hour/hour seemed really slow, and the last scene was a bit strange.
I think it was great all around. I was actually surprised that it was more balanced in its viewpoints than I expected. No wonder some of the jewish people are criticizing Spielberg now
I thought it was a good movie. The end started to drag a bit, but it wasn't that bad. Definitely didn't feel like a 3 hour movie
How long is the movie???
I realize that this movie is based on actual events, but wasn't there already a movie made like 20 years ago about the same thing? I swear I've heard of it, but I can't remember for certain. Does anyone know for sure?
the movie is INSPIRED by actual events, thats different than "based". When its billed as "inspired" it can take a lot more creative freedom.
I think there was a TV movie about the same thing, but does it matter? How many movies have been made about the holocaust? WWII ? etc?
i saw it a 2nd time last night, great movie but the ending is way longer than it needs to be since almost nothing happens when he is in brooklyn
well, it was an effective way to show the emotional aftermath of his actions...
Gonna see it, watched the trailer, I think I may like it.
I think a lot of these great directors are making their movies just too long. I don't want to waste half of my day just to see a movie.
3 hours is half your day?
this movie goes by a lot quicker than any of the LOTR flicks or King Kong IMO, its THAT engrossing.
i saw it a few days ago. i thought it was really good.
Munich is based off of a book called "Vengance" if I remember correctly. I unfortunately do not know the exact details of this book so look a sypnosis for it elsewhere.
I also liked how Spielberg went with a fair and balanced view of both sides. I loved how the main protagonist became morally bankrupt in the end and it was a bit heartbreaking to see that.
The greatest thing about the movie is the fact that all of what it speaks of about terrorism is revelant to what the U.S. has to deal with today.
i just finished watching half an hour ago, great movie overall.
i respect spielberg for not taking sides and turning it into sentimetal crap.
