Hey I was wondering if you guys would know the awnser to this. I have a 4 channel amp but want to run 6 speakers. I have 2-6 1/2", 2-6x9s, 2-10's. I want to run the tens on 2 channels and the other four on the other 2 channels. So for the four should I run them in parallel or in serries? I hope I worded that right.

Wire your four high's in parallel, possitive to possitive and negative to negative, both left speakers to the front left channel, both right speakers to the front right chanel... wire both 10's the same way but bridge them accross the rear channel (see amp for correct terminals...) You will be good to go!

Well, it depends on what coil configurations your pair of 10's is... what are they?

If you have a boat you should have gotten the pyle 8" 3way speakers. They rock and are cheap. Thats what we put in alot of the boats we do. I don't know about that amp though we usually run kicker.

    LAWL.

If you bridge the amp, on a pair of 10's paralleled... might not be too hot.

:werd: All that makes a speaker "marine" is being constructed of materials that don't get damaged with moisture and light water exposure.

it varies by the boater. i've seen boats where the installs look as good as when they left the shop, and some are just destroyed.

i see the same boat customers each year, because they actually use their boats for boat stuff... not just a status symbol. :mamoru:

My boat is a beater. I am not going to throw some expensive ass speakers in it. I paid $300 for everything. If this was going in my lambo then maybe I would have splurged for the MB's.

Yea yea I know I first laughed when someone suggested pyle. However for $35 for an 8" 3way speaker that produces decent bass, and highs it works well. We usually install 6 under the rear seat, and 2-4 in the rest of the boat. All amped, these things rock pretty damn good for the money invested.
