Ok I am sure this has been asked before, but I did search and it came up with nothing. I am looking to add another hard drive, I already Have 2 and 2 cdrom drives. So my cables are full. Is there a way I can get new cables and upgrade the bios to see the new drive? Or a card of some type to plug the new drives into? Or am I stuck using an external drive. Which I do not want to do.

IDE only supports 2 devices per chain. You're screwed.

You can get an add-in IDE or SATA PCI controller and get more ports, but otherwise external is your option.

Werd.. Best way to go about it. How big are your other drives? Why can't you just get a larger one and replace the ones you already have.

I currently have 2 250 gb that are pretty much full. So it would be easier to just add another drive then to try transfer all that to dvd's and then re-add that to a new drive and still only have a slight gain in space. I just went and ordered a card and a new drive. Thanks everyone :)
