multiple desktops in osx

    like in linux machines, how do you get a multiple desktop environment? i saw that i friend of mine has it on his OSX machine, and i was wondering how i could do the same. thanx

    only some apple machines have the ability to do the "multiple desktop". and i know on PCs it's called "extended desktop"

    i was just explaining that if he was trying to set it up and having problems he should know that not all machines do it. otherwise it should be automaticly done for you.

    multiple desktops != multiple displays.
