I can see why this custom-built Civic would seem pricey to some. They're really counting on the low production numbers and novelty of working with Mugen engineers to have some appeal.

I don't like that they started with the Euro car, though. The sedan offered in Japan is a much better platform, and almost makes that much power anyway. Importing one isn't very difficult or pricey in Europe either, so you'd have to really like the inferior hatch. :o

A nice mainstream option for the US would be a Civic with the turbo 2.3L from the Acura RDX...but that makes far too much sense.

Direct currency conversions rarely reflect true pricing. Doubtful it'd be that high if Honda actually tried to sell it here.

That would be a cool ride if it were, say 28k.

Looks kinda cool. But it's still just a Civic.

I'd rather spend the cash on a better car.

I think our Mugen Civic was that much, and it didn't even have more power.:rofl:

Are people really dumb enough to pay 64K for a 237 hp Civic? I honestly would have expected they were more powerful than that stock.

Can't believe they want to charge you even more for the "track pack". If someone was dumb enough to pay for this, what would they do with it other than track it.

I just can't beleive they expect people to track them. If I was in Europe and bought one:)ugh: ), I'd just preserve it. At only 20 units, it's a bit of a collector's item.

If I wanted a real track Civic, I'd import a JP Type R. It'd not only be cheaper, but probably faster too. Laps Tsukuba a little slower than a base NSX. :o

You might be faster, too. Definitely if you got an RS.

You could get a brand new Exige for the same amount of money, except it would be faster, more powerful, way sexier, and at the end of the day you wouldn't be in a fucking Civic. I can just see some idiot trying to explain that it's not a Civic, it's a 60,000 dollar Mugen.

Mugen is dumb and overpriced. $300 for bushings that are identical to $60 ones you can get at the dealer

"But I actually saw the Mugen guys and told them what I wanted on my car. They ignored me and just did a bukkake on me, but it was so JDM! :crying:"

I wish they would've put that into the TSX instead of the 3.2L V6 :uh:

I was just saying that last week.

A TSX with the 2.3L turbo and SH-AWD would be awesome.
