I've always heard how hard it is to get into the academys but I was wondering do I have much of a chance from going to junior college for the next 2 years to get into Air force academy, I have heard both, I do have a chance and then I heard it will be much much harder because of going this route, and also if I dont go into the academy would it be smarter to enlist or go in as in officer. I want be a firefighter in the air force if that makes a difference..

Enlist now and save your time. Enlisted men fight fires. Officers put out fires in other ways, and create some as well.

I would have enlisted now but I want to get school done first, hopefully playing a sport for Air Force which is why I asked.

You will have PLENTY of time to work on a degree while being a fire fighter.
