Trying to find a place to get some muay thai shorts that ships from the US other than fairtex. Also looking for some Twins gloves.

    mmawarehouse.com?

I used to recommend mmamuscle.com because I bought a ton from them, but they have new owners and are apparently a really shitty business now. Mmawarehouse has Windy, Combat Sports, and Fairtex gloves if you aren't set on buying Twins.

I personally hate Twins gloves and shin guards. Their gloves are too soft anbd bulky and their shin guards are fitted awkwardly around the instep.

I order all Twqins shorts straight from thailand and just pick up my gloves anmd pads form Fairtex whenever i'm in SF.

I am 5'10" 160 lbs (32"-33" waste) and wear i think a size XL in Twins shorts.
I found an online store through ebay one day that sells all sorts of random trinkets form thailand, mostly teas and shit, but htey sell Twins shorts as well.

you can find sizing charts online. asian sizes are all weird.

I dont liek the twins gloves. They are softer and bulkier. So its harder for you to slip your glove through on a clinch, and harder to sneak your glove through their defense.
i prefer the fairtex gloves, a little harder, and a little narrower.

is that your pant size? im 6' 215 and i wear a 33 in pants so im wondering if an XL would fit me or not. it also has weight measurements and they arent even close to what i weigh.

thats just what i wear in jeans, my propper waist size is probably a lot closer to 30, but i dont like pockets i cant fit my hands into.

With thai shorts waist isnt a big issues since they are all elastic, its length and width of the leg. I personally like m,y shorts a bit shorter on the leg and not too baggy looking. An XL fits me just below mid theigh and are perfect in the legs. A XXL looks like a giant diaper on me, legs are too baggy and go almost to my knees.

It really depends how you like your to fit. I have pretty short legs and prefer my shorts to fit higher up n the theigh than most so I would suggest a XXL in Twins shorts for you.

As I said check Title Boxing or Everlast. Both cary shorts, gloves and shin guards and their prices and brand selection is good.

Fairtex gloves shouldnt be twice as much. I think I paid $85 for mine last time i was in the bay, and they are VERY fair on their shipping. they actually lose money on their shipping often. I think its either 5% or 10% of your total checkout which can be really fair for UPS shipping.

Me personally, I would just throw down the money and order gloves and stuff straight form fairtex and either buy shorts from there too, or check eBay for Twins shorts (99% ship from thailand though).

i really dont like tite's stuff, and some everlast is extremely cheap, and some is very well made, it all depends what you get.

You might also want to look into windy or Raja.

I found some twins for 30ish but 20 dollar shipping which equals to around 50ish. Fairtex gloves with shipping will probably cost me 90.

I think I found the Twins on muaythaistuff or something like that.

It's up to you, they arent bad by any means, i just dont prefer them. $50 shipped for good qualiuty twins gloves is a killer deal.

mmamuscle is shady as hell now. I had to have my credit card give me my money back under the new owners. Old ones were great.

Not sure how reputable that site is. But I guess they're the real Twins.

yes, but they make many different styles of gloves. THiose look like the cheapest possible style they make. Like I said, I would inquire as to weather they are full leather or not because I wouldn't waste the $50 on them if they arent.

I have 3 pairs of 16 ounce gloves. Fairtex, Windy, and Combat Sports... and my favorite are the Windy's.
