MSSQL Question

    Alright, I'm storing this type of 'datetime' data in a MSSQL database :
    "2007-04-01 23:59:59"

    But, when I query the dbase, it gives it to me in this format :
    "Mar 8 2007 1:14PM"

    (I realize those are different dates, just used as examples of format)

    Which is ungodly hard to work with... I just want to use standard ISO datatime formats, why won't MSSQL do it?! It converts it automagically to 'make things easier'

    I'm hoping someone knows a configuration or something to make it use ISO standard...
