I only ask because I had the same problem. I called up my ISP and they said everything was working correctly. Apparently not. I have comcast, and they have a proxy server that filters all internect connectivity through it before it hits my computer. The proxy server was down, and has been down for three months. I removed the proxy settings and I was good to go.

    Fucking comcast.

Brose your Internet explorer preferences. Or your MSN messenger prefrences and remove the proxy.
