    Fucking long ass motherfucking article.

I didn't read the whole thing yet, but I was already annoyed in the beginning when she tells him not to apologize and then gets pissed at him for not apologizing. Dumb woman, say what you mean and don't say things you don't mean. The inability to understand this is literally a deal breaker for me. Fuck game, fuck social dynamics, fuck PUA, fuck vibing. If you say one thing but mean something else, especially during a serious conversation, you're not mentally stable, I can't trust you, nor can I ever put any faith in anything you say ever, so gtfo. This is obviously different from when people exaggerate, joke, etc., during pickup and flirting.

lol @ Everybody Loves Raymond references

Yep. It's an eternal struggle. Men and women will probably never be able to communicate 100% effectively with each other. Our brains just work a little differently. People generally don't communicate that well anyways, regardless of age, gender, relationship. It's the relationship and sex aspect that makes it so volatile most of the time. That article makes a couple good points, especially about men always wanting to fix problems. Most of this stuff is already in the book, "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus."

Honestly though, I think this disparity in communication can be fun. I mean, it's a challenge and keeps things lively. It gives us common ground to bond with the same sex. It makes for hilarious jokes and a pretty fun little sub-forum.

Above all, it makes for an exciting, albeit sometimes difficult, social dynamic. We're social creatures, so I think this is a good thing; having to solve social problems probably helps keep our brains healthy and fit. :dunno:

lol at an article retarded enough to put the blame 100% on direct people for not being able to decipher the indirect people.

I'm seriously not trying to turn this into a man vs woman thing. There aer plenty of men and women on both sides. If one person obfuscates what they say, it is obviously that persons fault 100% if someone else is not able to decipher it. If you want to be understood, speak directly.

Do you think gay marriages and relationships probably last longer (or get along better), in general, compared to straight relationships? Men tend to tell it like it is and say what they mean. Women imply things or use hidden meanings and other women probably understand what they meant because they do it too.

From what I've seen guys are no better at communication in relationships than girls. Varies from couple to couple. Emily's better than her brother at it. I'm better than both my exes. It just depends.

Sometimes I wonder if men and women were really meant to live together with a single partner. I have yet to find a woman that would not annoy the piss out of me if we lived together for an extended period of time.

didn't read all that but from my experience the main reason men don't understand women is because men are typically oblivious to subtext and can't properly decode mixed messages

just realize my domination thread can play into this one

She says:I like to be dominated.
She means:I like to feel dominated by you having your way with me, but your way better be exactly my way or i will lose that feeling!
I hear:DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH ME CAUSE ITS FUN!

women tend to communicate indirectly and men tend to communicate directly

MEN: Remember, logic and directness run all aspects of existence except communication with women.

    Math is logic.

    Chemistry is logic.

    Science is logic.

When a computer program is executing a sub routine, do you think it says "Damn, that last input variable pissed me off, I don't feel like executing this sub routine so I'm not gonna, that'll show those elitist long_ints that think they are so awesome. And while I'm at it, I'm gonna go revenge-flirt with that 3D array over there. He's got sexy arms."?

    Fuck no that doesn't happen.

So when EVERYTHING IN THE ENTIRE FUCKING REALM OF EXISTENCE, from DNA replication and quarks to cosmic wind and dark matter is governed by logic and directness, except for women, what does that tell you?

In my experience it depends on the woman. On the person, for that matter.

none of this has any bearing when a woman holds real attraction - obedient, doting attraction - for an alpha male figure.

Are you fucking kidding me? :hsugh:

The entire universe is one random, chaotic MESS. Humans are probably the only thing IN the universe that tries to break down that chaos to make it make sense.

Hell, the very fact that you were born was one giant, random, roll of the dice.

And let's get real...there is logic to what women do. They aren't hard to figure out if you have any kind of grip on human nature. They just use a different form of logic.

The fact that women can be flakey and unpredictable at times is in and of itself predictable...and thus logical.
