So i'm trying to export some files from my Outlook express. All the files are in a seperate folder in outlook, and i've went to "export" them and it did so, but where in the fuck did they get exported to?

What i'm trying to do is export these files and save them onto a CD rom.

If someone could help me out, i'd really appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Chris

Do a search for *.dbx files. Those are the files that outlook express creates to keep your mail in. You should be able to just copy those files and if needed you can import them back into outlook express. There should be one .dbx file for each folder in outlook express. Here is the path on my machine to the files (running windows XPpro) : C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{332D975E-DE20-423C-ACD3-02905B5998C6}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Ok, I think i found them. The only thing that was a bit weird is that they were all 72.9kb.

    Thanks tho. :bigthumb:
