    well my boss wants me to write some stuff in access (shudder) for him. one of them is a database to monitor our work order.

    i got pictures to explain what i need

    so this is where we update the work order of the customer.

    this is the button i want to press to print THAT work order

    i want this to showup the current work order that was select from image #2. i have knowledge in MySQL, and Oracle 9i, but nothing with access and im getting fustrated. any suggestions?

    First... correct the spelling! LOL...

    Anyway, the easiest way to do it is that when you click the button, create an on click event that says:

    docmd.openreport "workorderreport", acViewPreview, , "WorkOrderID = " & forms!customers!workorderssubform.form!WorkOrderID

    spelling, yeah im bad at that... really really bad.

    i got it working. i just setup a function to get the vars :big grin:

    I just found it funny that you circled something in red that was misspelled :rofl:
