I' m wondering if full size trucks get the MPG as posted in the real world as a daily driver.

    Looking at a Silverado 1500 with 5.3 V8.

    TIA

Typically they do. I have an F150 and I generally get around 16 - 17 mpg. My driving is about half interstate and half local on a daily basis.

LOl you wouldnt belive this but my dad gets like 22 mpg with the 2002 gmc sierra sle v8 5.3lt never floors it except when i drive it. and never passes 2K rpm execpt for emergencies and never presses the gas going down hill. better gas milage then what honda get cause they have to rev to like 4k to get up to speed. LOL ahaha
