Anyone have problems playing mp3s using win media player 11 on vista? when I play mine, they all screech about 30 secs into them. I know it's not the file b/c they play fine on my other comp.

Have you tried any other programs? Try loading a CD or DVD with music. If you're still getting the problem, I would reinstall WMP.

I think I found the problem. I tried disabling all the programs running in the background one by one. I updated all the audio drivers. And finally, I unplugged my wireless network card (d-link), and this worked. When I bought it, the drivers were for xp, but the box said that it worked w/ vista. I updated the drivers, and I think that fixed it.
