I dont have a mp3 player in my car. My headunit will only play wave files. Its a top of the line usit so the problem Im having would not be there.

I have to make all the mp3 files on my computer wma files when I burn them to discs so I can play them in my car. The problem is that there is cracking when I play them. (radio doesnt crack so its not the speakers) I think the bit rate on most of the mp3's are 192. Is there anything I can do to increase the quality of the wma files when I burn them to cd?

    Thanks in advance.

If you have a newer copy of Nero Burning ROM, it will automatically covert your MP3s to WAVs when you select "Burn an audio CD". Makes it real easy.
