I was wondering if and what program out there would break a very large mp3 into a couple of new mp3. I have a 2+hour song and I would like to break it down so I could burn it off on a couple of 74 minute cdRs. :x:

i'd like to know this too. I tried using audacity to cut and paste parts of the song into new files but wasn't very successful.

    You can experiment with iTunes.

In one of their properties you can change the length of the song. So, POSSIBLY!! you can do

    Start time 0.0000
    End time 74.000

    Burn....

    then change

    Start time 74.0001
    End time 148.000

    etc....

I'm not to sure if this works.

honestly, this is when I wish I had my pc because i used to use a program called Goldwave. I haven't seen a better audio manipulation program on either platform since.
