i'm sorta between a rock and a hard place in choosing a nice mp3 player with over 512MB. got some choices:

    JetAudio's U2

some new ones from that comp are comin out tho...
    M5, G3, iAudio5

    then of course there's iRiver's iFP-799

and Creative's Zen Xtra and Zen Touch

iPod i really dont feel that it's fit for me...
:sadwavey: hope someone can help me

I just got my iRiver iFP-895 512mb and I love it. I don't need those other or 40gb players because how many songs are you really going to listen to? Plus the iRiver is sturdy as hell compared to something like the iPod which I would be afraid to even put down anywhere.

well... the matter of fact is, i just dont feel like transferring songs constantly... dont get me wrong, the iFP-895 is nice, but it'd be about 5 Cd's worth of songs, which i go by really fast in a day

    iAudio i5, for sure.

Or if you can't wait for that, go ahead on the U2.

Glad some people acually know about iAudio; best company in the biz, you know
