I'm thinking about getting a 1 gig IPOD mini cause of its size and I wont use it for much out side of the gym so I dont need much more than a gig anyways.

    What do you guys use?

Oh, and I use a 20 gb ipod when I hit the treadmill. I leave it in my bag when I lift weights because it just gets in the way.

1GB creative muvo. Debated about the shuffle as well, went with the muvo. FM tuner, voice recorder, display....just seemed like the better deal. No complaints.

i'm looking to order that today as well (grouch's thread in main ot inspired it), it looks to be a nice solid player, just have to buy some aaa rechargable batteries and a charger.

i wouldn't get the ipod shuffle, just kinda looks gay. it's like ur a trendy ipod whore, but couldn't afford a real ipod.

i'm ordering mine from ebuyer.com, they have a $20 rebate (dunno if amazon's do as well) and it's 115, so really like $95 bucks. shipping is like 2.50 or so pricegrabber.com said.

I have a 128mb mp3 player, only ever used it when travelling, theres a stereo in the gym for a reason, we all just bring in our own music and crank it. Chalk is the plague of cd players though, fuckin cd player.

30 gig ipod. doesn't seem to get in the way much, but if i'm doing chest presses with dbs and i want to kick the weights up with my legs i have to be careful it doesn't fall out. other than that, no complaints. i wish i had a smaller one for the gym though.

I don't like my ipod for the gym, if you are doing cardio it's fine. Otherwise the wires get in the way of my workout and the earbuds get pulled out of my ears. By the end of my workout I am tangled up.

Now, if they had blue tooth technology in the ipod where you could have wireless headphones it would be perfect.

I wouldn't bring an Ipod, you never know when some fat chick is gonna fart and make you drop a DB on it.

I also debated over the Ipod shuffle but went with the Sandisk 1GB. Also because it has a FM tuner, voice recorder, display, and is cheaper. I love it.
