Mozilla Firefox

  1. I have been using Firefox for a long time but since last night I can't open it anymore, I just get an error report. I have tried re-installing it but same thing happens. I'm fairly sure it's not caused by spyware (adaware, spybot and spyware doctor aren't finding anything). Does anyone have any idea what I could do to fix this? Any help will be greatly appreciated, it's the only browser I like and i'm lost without it!

    Uninstall it
Delete all files from your temporary folder
Make sure all registry entries were erased along with all folders on your HD

    Then try and reinstall it...

Did you look in the text file to see what it says?

Make sure to delete the Mozilla folder in Documents and Settings -> User -> Application Data.

:werd: I'd see if it says anything interesting, then delete it and see if that solves the problem.

Once i booted up my PC and logged in, and found Firefox had lost all my settings, Favorites, and customizatons. it acted like it was running for the first time. very strange...but i blame an unstable machine because it had been freezing that week due to a bad BIOS i was trying.

Opera used to be my browser of choice, but it's become such bloatware these days. :wtc:
