I moved out 2 months ago from my parents, and I already lost 5 pounds, and Im already a skinny fucker. Im currently 160lb, 6"0. I wanna be 180. I go to the gym about 4 times a week, but the problem is... I dont eat shit. Mostly because Im lazy/dont know how to cook anything.

Can anyone suggest what I should be eating to start gaining weight? High protein/ medium-high fat stuff. Something thats also easy to prepare. I already go to restaurants like daily, but I dont usually get stuffed there anyways.

you simply have to eat more, stop being lazy and start cooking.

I think you already know what you need to eat in order to gain weight.

But what kind of stuff should I eat that requires minimal effort/preparation time?

    1. Buy the smallest, cheapest George Foreman they make (or a knock off).
    2. Buy a shit ton of chicken breasts, milk and eggs at Sam's Club, Walmart or food store.

If you are going to restaurants then you have way more than enough time to cook. Throw chicken breasts on a grill or in the oven. Cook some veggies (buy steamer bags that are in the frozen food section). Once a week make rice and potatos and eat that as your carb. You can do anything while you are waiting. Normally I balance my checkbook or start watching a TV program while chicken is cooking (last night I swept while wating for charcoal to get ready).

I could cook a full meal from start to finish in less than 20 minutes without even rushing. No way I could get to a restaurant and know exactly to a T what went into my meal. Plus work in a couple restaurants and you will realize that grilled chicken breast is not remotely healthy for you nor the veggies.

For quick and easy chicken do a google search for dry rubs. Fast way to get amazing flavor into chicken breasts with minimial work and without waiting for it to marinade.

Starting out it will take you some time to get the hang of it and you will have a few flop dishes but keep it at. Even executive chefs I know still tank food from time to time. Plus cooking is about the easiest freaking thing known to mankind once you have the basics down.

Plus women flock to a guy who can cook.

p.s. no way can be lazy and drive to restaurants to eat lazy people just plop around and at some point even the top chefs had to learn how to cook so that is just a pathetic excuse.

head to the book store or library and thumb through cookbooks and follow directions. Many college offer an intro to cooking class take that at night.

Chicken is easy 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes
    potato 400 for 40-45 minutes
anything else do a google search or read the instructions on the box.

    check foodtv.com or allrecipes.com

How about pre-greasing the pan? Do I need to put cooking oil or butter or just leave it?

    is the pan nonstick?

Buy pam spray and spray a little into it and see what happens adjust the next time.

Every pan I have ever used is completely different on what it requires. My main pans if I do not coat the thing everything sticks. My 1 nonstick pan still requires it but not as much.

To be honest, I dont know if its non-stick or not. Just give it a good spray with pam? Put the chicken, and nuke it at 350 for 30-40 mins?
