I was wondering if theres any difference in performance between a USB mouse and a PS/2 mouse.

I hear if you're a hardcore gamer, USB has less lag or something. But since I don't do that, I've never noticed a difference. Except that PS2 is much more likely to work in safe mode or DOS and frees a USB port for something else that can't use a PS2 port, such as a printer, scanner, or memory card reader.

Either way is fine... Most now are USB, but come with an adapter to use in a PS2 port.
