Anyone know a fix to this? I'll be working on my 2.0 G5 PowerMac and the mouse curser will just jump to one corner. This happens if I use the standard Apple mouse or my Logitech cordless.

    TIA

    are they infrared mice?
If so, check the surface colour. This happens when you roll over some red or other crazy colours.

The mice are infared and only one device plugged in. Should I get a mousepad then?

Just try using a white bit of paper to start with. If that works properly, then yeah, get a mousepad or sticky tape the paper to the desk. ;)

I have a Logitech mouseman optical dual sensor. And for some reason, when the mouse is too close to my keyboard, the thing gets a little crazy like yours does.

I grabbed a foam grey mouse pad and have had no problems since.
