I bought a few internal 180 GB HDs today along with some enclosures. I already had one that I had done previously.

I have a USB splitter (whatever its called) and have them all connected into that. But, I cant get any of the new hds to mount. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to help me out. If it works I can paypal you some money.

Try plugging them in individually; your USB hub might be too old to handle the new drives. Also make sure they have the proper power being supplied to the drives or they won't even turn on. Failing that, right-click on My Computer, choose Manage, and open the Disk Management section and see if the disks need to be partitioned and formatted before they will work.

Some devices need a powered USB hub, also.
