Ever since installing Leopard, I haven't been able to successfully eject/unmount a .dmg "drive" after installing an application/etc. Usually in the sidebar of a finder window, you can click the eject icon or just drag it to the trash but neither works for me anymore.

Luckily i've found a way to force it to eject using Terminal but i'd like to fix the problem for good instead of doing this every time.

    Anyone?

are you sure you copied the program to your applications folder, it won't let you eject the dmg if your running the program off it.

if thats not the problem, try repairing permissions

im definitely sure of that...and I get no error message, it just doesn't do anything.

and I thought about repairing permissions but then I forgot about it...hmmmm
