Just got it and I love it, will post pictures when I get home, but this screen is huge, and clear. I am a little disapointed in the mic's volume but that is it. Overall I love the phone.

cttt300zx, what phone were you coming from?

what else do you think could be better, besides the volume?

    I dunno.

After looking alot, there is no specific mp3 player on it, but I think you just have to connect your computer to it and you can use 10mb of space on the phone for mp3s, and once you get a mem card (128mb @ $30) your computer will just see it as a removable drive and you can store whatever on it.

The question is, do I want to connect my computer everytime I wanna download another 30 mp3s onto it, or do I want to get the bluetooth adaptor so I can do it if my phone is anywhere within 30ft.? :)

Do they make bluetooth headphones? Not, like the thing you use to answer and make calls and stuff, but actual 2 ear headphones...

honestly, the only thing that i think could be better is the volume. i like the phone overall. Yeah, and I cant figure out how to get mp3's either. But I think that is just because Verizon hasnt released the phone yet. I think it will be in the get it now portion, which is kind of limited right now.

Those are some nice phones there. I am waiting for T Mobile to come out with some decent Motorola or ES phones.

Well, you need a Transflash memory card first of all, those are impossible to find, either they're not released or something. Verizon cannot help you with this phone until the 11th, only 1 out of 5 radioshacks I visited even carried this phone right now, no one has that transflash mem card yet. I called everywhere and I live in Houston.

But once you get that card, you either need a connector to connect your phone to your computer and get some software and you should be able to select the card and upload anything. That, or get a card reader, remove card and put it on the card itself and then install it on the phone.

I recommend the former, the transflash memory card is so small that it is not designed to be taken in and out often, so I suggest you keep it in your phone. You can find all info on the software needed to upload and tools here:

    http://www.vstuff.co.uk/

After everything is on the phone, you just go to Multimedia > Sounds and you can sort the mp3s and set up a playlist or whatever.

Im not sure about the 710, but on all the other Vxxx you can use a hex editor to make the volume higher along with many other customizations. Just search this site. http://www.howardforums.com/

Also have I seen you on tt.net or 3zc? Your name looks familiar.

The V710 is a great phone but the bluetooth is a bit crippled.
