There are plenty of places selling it for mid $700's and no, it's not worth it. Most first hand users report it being slow and typical motorola for what it is. Just like the over hyped V600 was.

Our selling price (cingular) will be 689 no contract. 529 w/ a 2yr

Can't figure this thing out. WAAAAAY overpriced, low on features. There are much better phones (6230 for example) with better and more features for half (if not less) than the price of the V3

Good thing mine is free :o

Verizon is CDMA, so NO for now.

the V3 is a quadband GSM phone, handling 850, 900, 1800, and 1900 GSM frequencies, so it will work with all 3 major GSM providers: T-Mo, AT&T, Cingular.

That V3 is soooooo sexy. Wish there was a CDMA version. I'd buy it just on the cool and slim factor...

Looks like it will be cingular exclusive, at least for a few months.

Not sure if it will be unlocked or not by the time it gets to us. A lot of our unlocked phones now have new part #'s and are locked.

should start to see them about the middle of november

    that's not flash, that's function.

flash = shiny pretty metal and cool lights, not white plastic. :)

the 6620 is still cool, just not flashy.

Received 10 today. Sold one as OK'd by my manager, then was told not to sell anymore until tomorrow, 11-12.

I got my free one with Bluetooth headset. Keypad lights don't work on it :uh:
    Typical motorola.

Its bascially a v600 with themes and amazing reception, all dressed up in a fancy case. Its VERY wide too. Camera is absolute crap on it. Bluetooth is pretty :ugh: as well. Very picky. Battery life is pretty bad. On a full charge with 14 total minutes on the call timer between the 2 days i've had it, my battery is dead(as in shutting off) after 1 day.

No way in hell i'd pay more than $150 for this phone if I was buying it.
    Thanks motorola :wavey:

yeah they are very underpowered. i could understand if they had a high class of EDGE, memory cards and a flash, but its high b/c it seems trendy. i held one today and felt like i was going to break it
