Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting the Motorola Q in a few weeks when my new every 2 comes into play. And I was just wondering what all of your takes are on it,the pros and the cons.

everyone says they hate it. But every time I mess around with it in the store, it seems like a good phone.

care to elaborate on why the hate?

I just went to the Motorola launch party and wasn't impressed with it at all. Funky menu's, no track ball, odd key lay out. The RAZR 2 seems like a decent device though.

i have it and a treo 650. the ONLY reason I use the Q is for the high speed data. I love the treo for everything else though.

The Q is kinda slow moving from menu's. Battery life isn't that great. Form factor is nice, though.

Had tons of little issues with mine, poor battery life. I was not too pleased. Trading it in next week.

its not horrible, but it's very basic. i have one and i'm REALLY board of it. if you're on sprint get a touch or mogul. if on verizon i'd leave, but if you can't/wont at least get the q9m

i had the sprint version for about a week

hated the keyboard, battery life was horrible, charging port wouldn't register that it was plugged in half the time, very slow/laggy overall, and the back button had the most ridiculous functionality ever, it would remember every menu/program you were in and every time you push back it'd go back to the last menu, even when you were at the today screen and whatnot

kinda hard to explain but it's annoying
