Does anybody have this phone? How slow is it? Is it as slow as other Motorola phones?

I'm wondering since the Motorola OS is freaking slow as hell, but this phone uses Windows Pocket PC 2003.

    Thanks

Doesn't even compare to the other MOTO's

somehow micorsoft and motorola got together and the end result actually works (i'm shocked :ee3: )

I use one and love it. Pretty quick except on startup. All my customers that have them like them as well.

Only downside is they can't be insured. Also, they have about a 1/2 second delay when flipping open the phone before the other party can hear you say hello. Every one of them does it, kind of annoying at first but you get used to it right away

Indeed. Its on LockLines "Do Not Insure" list, along with any "smartphone", treo, BWM/Mercedes V60, and V3 RAZR

I just found that out today as well and cancelled my insurance on it.
I love the phone though! :)

can't you demand to get your money back? If the cingular rep pushed you to get it knowing full well it can't be insured, that sounds like misleading advertising

With the newest firmware, its a decent phone.

The t637 is ok, but so slow. The SE K700i is an excellent phone, prolly the best "cell" phone i've ever used. Now i'm all about the converged devices, and the two i have are in my av. SMT5600 windows mobile smartphone and Cingular Treo 650. Great phones.
