If it were my only bike, i'd get the CBR. If i wanted a track only bike i'd get either the gixxer or the R6.

Yzf 600R because comfort > an extra tenth's of speed

on my 02' 600R ive drag raced a R6 from 40-140 and it was dead even... not a slight bit of pull or loss... totally even from wherever we ended up against each other from the launch.

    so yea.

thanks, i figure i'd just troll around and read important info, i know i should go with something like a 250, but i'm not really into popping wheelies and doing crazy 200mph fly-bys or acrobatics, so i'll just get one of those and be REALLY careful until i'm comfortable enough to attempt something crazy. i know i can, i'm controlled enough :)

by the way, thanks for the website address. :bigthumb:

Why stop at 750 if its your 1st bike. Just get it over with and get a haybusa.

P.S. Stick with at the most a 600cc bike for your 1st. An FZR600, YZF600R or an SV650 will be more then enough for you.

  20. yes, and i dont care what anybody says i can handle a 600. i know how much power these things have and respect it. :mb:

personally, I think the gixxer definitely seems to handle the best out of all of these. The CBR is a good bike too.

I haven't ridden the new models yet, but assuming you're talking about the last gen bikes, I would say the gixxer for sure

this man speaks the truth and honestly i think from my own experience youll have a shitload more fun with the sv650 ... V-twins are fucking god's on the street for low end torque and puttering around... they make power from all the way down while on the 600's you need to reach 8-9k rpm just to start REALLY going...

you are obviously not ready for riding, because thats the attitude that lets real riders know that you DON'T respect these machines. :slap:

Thats almost funny. Been more than one person from sportbikes.net and cycleforums say that and then come back and tell us how they wrecked.

Or, in the case of sexydude on SBN he couldn't come back and tell us because he hit a pole and demolished his head. :shrug

Since you have such respect for power I say fuckit. Just go buy a Busa like mine and enjoy the real power. I mean, those smaller bikes don't have shit. Get something at least a little dangerous and snicker at those guys with the "tiny" bikes.
