no offense to shadow crowd. I got pissed. Do not make the mistake of buying a 600 shadow. Also some really pop and stand out, but without a nice paint job, they're a bit boring imo.

I'm not a huge cruiser fan, but this thing gets 60 MPG with my fat ass on it. It's slow, but it's still fun to ride. I'll be getting an Interceptor later in the year, but I do love this bike.

Dude, what does it matter what he wants to ride? Enjoying your bike is more important than what it looks like. Fucking squids.

Dude, I am sorry to put your bike down like that. That is badass that it gets 60mpg. I think it's a fine and dandy commuter or learner bike, but it would get boring fast. I was scraping pegs on my buddies, you can't lean for shit on it. Also, if I were getting a cruiser as my only bike I would like something a bit more unique. Interceptor ftw! Pre-vtec or vtec?

yep just about, I had no freedom and I thought the money would be faster coming in and just be lik ea long term investment but it wasn't. I had to watch it lik ea hawk, couldn't do anything with anyone, missed parties/birthdays,mothers days, holidays etc cause i had to be at the store. and we closed at 8 left at 9 and then we opened up at 9 again.

No I'm not calling you a squid, I mean the people that buy the bikes they buy because they think it makes them look cool, not for overall ride quality, or enjoyment. I fucking hate squids.

By the way, I hate the RC51. No offense, but I do.

:h5: I don't mind, it's not the bike for everyone and yeah I'm already getting kinda bored of it. I still love riding it just for little cruises, but I used to borrow my buddies CBR600 and go out and have some fun on it, which is what I miss. I mainly bought the bike for the gas mileage, and I liked the look of it and how comfortable I was on it.

I'll be grabbing up an '06 White Interceptor if I can, so V-Tec. :)

 I just don't like the way it rides for some reason. It just didn't jive with me, and I really don't know why. It looks alright, but just wasn't what I wanted. And yeah, pretty much any bike can kick my shadows ass

I don't care for how it rides either, unless I am really hitting up some nice roads. It sucks for a dd, which it currently is. I went from a ktm supermoto to this thinking it would be a better dd, I make stupid fucking decisions. God, I wish having a motard:hsd: Most fun on two wheels, ever. I am surprised you like the way it looks, I thought that would be what you didn't like:o How could you hate the motor though, seriously. Oh, and I have never ridden a vfr/interceptor but hear the pre-vtec are alot less problematic.

:mamoru: we all make bad decisions, sounds like your luck with bikes is on par with my luck with cars. It's not my favorite bike to look at, but it doesn't make me turn away with disguist. It's not that I hated the motor, I just overall was disappointed with the bike, didn't impress me while I rode it and I just wanted to get off by the end of it.

I'm sure the pre-vtec ones are less problematic, the more technology you add to things the more things there are to break. The V4 is just so smooth and happy at any RPM and will just do what you ask it to. I love it.
