im not a fan on moto phones - the one ive had and the countless customer experiences ive read about with other ones makes me a diehard anti-motorola fanboy.

I'm quite the opposite... I've never had a single problem with a Motorola phone, while I rather dislike most other cell phone brands.

one of the most returned phones for verizon in southern california was the razr.

i can only assume that held true across most of the board... ;)

:werd: Besides my Sidekick, my RAZR has been my favorite phone out of the 11ty billion cell phones I've had. Shit I just realized I've had a cell phone for like 10 years now :eek3: I think I still have my first Nokia Tracfone, that thing was fucking pimp :mamoru:

must just be a verizon thing mainly.

verizon does have a nice record of disabling all features on a phone - making you pay for them one by one - AND customizing the software so its practically useless.

Oh yes... manufacturer means nothing when you're using Verizon. They cripple the phone to the point where it barely resembles the phone that the manufacturer made. I think that the last decent phone they sold (didn't have mods forced down your throat) was the Motorola e815... was a great phone, had one for about a year. I've since switched to AT&T.

iphone is nice - wait until the 3g is added in - which should be quarter 1 08? at least thats what analysts are saying.

maybe nice is an understatement. everytime I play with one I desperately want one. just wish it could be on a faster network.

yap - i pay $0 for no internet and lots of anytime and free verizon to verizon...

(parents still pay the cell bill - so until they quit, i'm gonna take shitty verizon prices - cause i dont see them).. and about 90% of my family and friends are on verizon - so its all free.

    funny how that works out..

i think geographic location plays a role too - verizon is better in some areas etc. etc.

I think that 'vibe and ring' is one of the features that Verizon is disabling, for whatever reason.

verizon also doesnt let you sync to your pc - so you cant upload ringtones etc...

    they're assholes :)

there is no doubt in my mind that verizon is 100% profit driven and 0% customer satisfaction.

they fail to realize that customer satisfaction drives profits... or they just dont care.
