    opinions on LG VX9400

hey i was just wondering how you guys who have a Moto Q like it?

also, anyone in the socal area, how is sprint for you guys?

i have verizon right now and i get a shit load of dropped calls and i lose reception at my house.

I originally wanted a blackberry curve through At&t or a blackberry 8830 through sprint but i decided i don't want to pay $70-80 per month for the plan + blackberry plan...

also, does anyone know if the sprint sero plan offers unlimited texts? i think it does but i'm not sure because the website doesn't list that as a feature...

this is what the website says...
    This plan includes
    • Unlimited Nights & Weekends starting at 7pm!
    • Domestic long distance
    • Unlimited Mobile to Mobile
    • Unlimited Web/Data Access
    • Unlimited Picture Mail (with compatible devices)

i have had my Q for months and i like it. It does everything i need without issue. Battery life leaves a little something to be desired but that's about it.

I like my Q... there's another guy in the same office with a verizon Q and he has all kinds of problems with service and what not... :dunno:

I dont like how Sprint is not going to upgrade the exsisting Q user's to MW6... Jerks.

A friend with a Q likes his well enough. Just find the registry hacks for the battery and battery performance will be much better. I prefer my Mogul though.

I signed up for SERO 3 weeks ago and got the Q. I like it so far. It serves more as a phone than a full functional PDA. Only thing that's not so great is that processor speed is sluggish and the screen is a bit small for browsing.

I've had pretty good reception in the L.A. area; haven't had a dropped call. The sound quality is pretty good as well. Unlimited text msg was included in my plan.

hm... so apparently sprint raised the price on all their phones... the moto Q is now $250... ($150 with a $25+ data plan)

I've changed my mind and decided to stick with Verizon...

I was looking at the Samsung u740 with the full qwerty keypad but i checked it out at the verizon store today and it does not look like it will last 2 years... 6 months maybe...

Then I checked out the LG VX9400 and I really liked how it felt. It definately felt like it would last 2 years, and I like how it swivels, cool points. I've read a few reviews and it seems like its a good phone with good video/sound quality but the reviews make it sound like making a call is a chore.

Anyone have any experience/opinions on the LG VX9400?

I have a Q w/ Sprint and like it just fine. My buddy wanted one and was out of his contract so I added him to my plan for $10/mo additional. I bought the phone for him and he paid me back. Once the phone came I called Sprint's retention line directly (the number is easy to find) and got them to credit me the cost of adding data ($15/mo) and 500 texts/mo.
My buddy gives me some money each month. We both save.

I like my Q. I got it for $99 by signing a 2 year contract.
The normal battery doesn't last too long when listening to mp3's or watching movies.

So where's this link for updating to Mobile Windows 6 in just 10 EASY MINUTES?

I have heard success stories with upgrades. And although not a Q, I did do a WM upgrade a few years back on a Siemens PDA phone and a NEC PDA. So they are possible.

I have a Q and I like it. I use it for a phone, e-mail and teather it to my laptop to get on the Internet. It works great for all those applications.

Battery life hasn't been an issue for me. In addition to my phone calls, I have it setup to check two e-mail accounts every 15 minutes and still the battery lasts all day w/o a problem.

*I don't use it for MP3's or to watch movies

no but it's the same fucking thing. You need to stop being a douchebag, and don't accuse someone of lying just cause you are incompetent.

(and don't bother pointing out my spelling, I DON'T care)
