motivation is owning me

    i usually get hyped for like 2 weeks to lift everyday & eat great then i'll slump for a week or two eating bad and only lifting like 3 times a week...I used to have more energy and motivation for this but now its like ehhh....
    i'm just out of college and at least i used to play basketball all the time, now i'm a bum.....somebody slap me :sadwavey:

    look in the mirror and notice your body getting softer and wider every day. then realize you are out of college and you have passed your peak in life and everyday will get worse and worse. then realize MAYBE just maybe you could postpone your inevitable decline for a few years by getting off your ass and lifting some weights.

    that's may be what it takes to get me motivated but i haven't reached that yet, i mean i was consistently 11 to 12% body fat the last 5 years in college, but now i've climbed to 15%....
    I think energy has a lot to do with it, i just dont' have a lot when i get off after long day at work and i don't wanna get addicted to caffeine

    I find that working out first thing in the morning is the best.

    Yeah...you gotta wake up earlier, but then it's over with for the day.
