I know that when I wanna buy WMD related stuff from you guys, I don't even think about the yard sale forum. it would be too cluttered over there anyway. I think fazle should add a WTB/WTS/WTT WMD forum...anyone else think so?

I wouldn't mind drafting up some rules for it.. :dunno:

just a feeler. i shot a PM over to fazlay to see what he thinks :x:

    Update:

Fazle responded to my PM and said that he really wants to add the subforum, but when he ran the idea by his attorneys, he got shot down. :hs: He apologizes.

BUT LET'S KEEP THIS VOTE GOING! Maybe he can change his lawyer's mind :o :x:

I think it would work as people always have WMD stuff to sell.

As long as Fazle has a sticky that states it's at our own risk and that you need to check our local laws, it would be fine. Most other forums with firearms sections have a trading post section.

Comeon Fazle, let's have one here too.

Sounds good to me. I haven't clicked on The Yard Sale in months and it wouldn't even occur to me to go there looking for guns.

I am constantly browsing and using the for sale/trade sections in other forums for firearms and parts.

I don't see what the big deal is with adding subforums? They seem to be totally against adding any new ones.

Add one at the top of WMD for parts exchange and have it come under the same rules as the trading post...

Same thing no one wanted to create an open forum for EDU threads even though we have an Archive just for EDU threads... Why not just make the friggin archive open so people can post in it!

    so, I have a question.

    for reference

    http://forums.offtopic.com/showpost.php?p=55468380&postcount=17

was a sig for sale / trade,

    http://forums.offtopic.com/showpost.php?p=53806907&postcount=7
    was krott selling an 870

    And of course, this thread;

http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?t=2440212 which has a link to http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?p=53377996 in the first post.

Why would the lawyers have an issue with sales inside WMD, but not inside the yardsale? that doesn't make any sense. it's all the same board.

No clue. They let you sell in the Trading post. I even bought my XD off of OT.

i dont see how the lawyers can see things that way. every firearm forum out there has a forsale forum, hell, there are probably more gun transactions on ARFCOM each day than on gunbroker
