mother in law had a fit when I bought a motorcycle

    she freaked out, but she said "you're an adult so you can make your own decisions" and left it at that. it always bugged me that she had that "I know better but you do what you want" attitude so i picked today, while they're visiting, to take my son (her grandson, obviously) for his first ride.

    harley, anniversary heritage

    my wife said taking him for his first ride while the in-laws were here might not have been my best decision but seeing as when I got back she had left it worked out well for me :rofl:

    Lucky here. My family rides and so does the in laws. Of course mother and wife didn't want me to ride but warmed up to it over the years.

    my wife actually bought me my motorcycle and she loves it. her mom, not so much.

    it's a good thing my in-laws are really big harley owners.....


    good enough that i ride crotch rockets and they just roll their eyes.

    even after wrecking one pretty badly, they don't seem to mind at all that their daughter gets a ride quite often. so i guess that's a plus.
