Computer died, will not power fully power on to boot. I changed power supply, the light on the motherboard is on, but when I hit the power button, the CPU fan spins then stops. PC doesn't even load into BIOS

Someone mentioned to me that the caps on the mobo are fucked. Besides changing mobo, can anyone figure out a solution?

    thanks in advance

If the caps on the motherboard are bad, you can sometimes replace them or there are services that will. You are usually better off just getting a new motherboard.

can you take a pic of the board? are the tops of the capacitors level, flat, and clean? or bulging, breached, and leaking?
