A&P Moth Picture...what do you think?

    Saw this moth laying eggs on the side of my house today and decided I'd mess around with some close up shots. I'm still a total beginner with photography, but I wanted to see what you guys thought. I didn't do too much editing with these pictures. Just a little contrast. Criticism is fine. :cool:

    the only thing I can think of is "squash that fucker" but thats because I hate bugs.

    That moth is laying paintballs!

    The pics are so so... but that is one bad ass looking bug.

    Yeah they arent great, was having a tough time getting close and staying in focus. Had to use one of my dads old nikon lenses + some addon thing to be able to keep in focus closer. But the depth of field was so small :dunno:

    cool subject.. but you needed a close-up lens in this case..

    Very cool color contrast

    heh no, but I think that was the dumbest place for that moth to lay those eggs. They usually hide them under leaves and out of PLAIN sight, so I have a feeling the eggs wont hatch, they'll be in another bug/animals stomach

    I saw a similar moth too a couple of months ago. Almost stepped on it so I picked it up and put it in a tree. Snapped a couple of [quick, bad] pictures to show someone though first.
