I personally would pick the crowbar because you get multiple attack angles and easy skull penetration. Some people argue that a sword is even better for killing a zombie, but I say to him that a sword will not open a locked door.

Just throwing it out there......but i'd probably rather send a 7.62 through their head rather then getting up close with a crow bar.

I was thinking the m249 SAW would be a great zombie defense weapon, particularly for an entrenched positions. its belt fed, shoots a small fast round that destroys central nervous systems everyday. too bad no one has one.

I suppose an AR with one of those beta drum mags and a bipod would be about the same. kind of

If it's not a firearm: Katana, Roman Gladius or Machete. A quote from the survival guide (from memory if wrong) "You don't have to reload blades."

Obviously a gun would still be my primary choice.

The M249 or any light/heavy machine gun would waste too much ammo in an event like this. If you were in an entrenched position that would draw entirely too much attention to you. Now if you were secure enough not to worry about attention then you should be shooting them anyways!

I definately aggee with the AR w/ beta. I think it would be one of the best ideas, its what I will be using!!!

I think that a crow bar serves a better purpose as just a crowbar. I would prefer to stay farther than arms length away from them.

P.S. Ya I have put WAY too much time thinking about this kind of stuff!

The living dead are neither frightened by big guns nor do they require big guns to be killed. All you have to do is penetrate the brain as efficiently as possible.

Melee weapons don't jam or require ammunition, they also don't make a lot of noise, which would attract more zombies.
