    depends for what.

when you get to the "best artists" they all specialize in different things. some do b&w portraits, some traditional japanese, some color etc.. it just depends.

Booth is getting less and less popular as people realize his work doesn't stand the test of time. IMHO his over-rated and not as good as everyone makes him out to be.

anyone else have contributions? i don't really keep up with too many current artists anymore. just faithfully following the ones i have been for years.

i saw this guy at the austin tattoo convention:

    www.nickbaxter.com

i remember being in LA awhile back and I visited several well known shops and all these established artists were in an uproar that he was in town. pretty good stuff. i'd imagine everyone will being seeing ALOT more of him soon.

yeah, he's really young too...like 21 or so!!! i think he was featured in tattoo the magazine once when he was 19-20. he's visibly gotten better. can you imagine him with 10-15 years of tattooing under his belt?

his portfolio at the convention was like [IMG]
