GUN Mossberg 835

    Well I bought my frist gun yesturday a mossberg 835. I just hate waiting 10 days to get it:wiggle:

    Why do you say that? I've put about 2.5k rounds thru my 835 with 0 problems. And I leave my shotgun filthy at times, its been one of the most reliable shotguns I've owned. Also no real problems to speak of about the 500 I own.

    Because they build quality is awful. My dad won an 835 in a gun raffle, its a nice gun for the $30 he paid for the ticket but no way would I buy one. Cheap wood, plastic trigger guard, I dont care for the action, but it is nice to have as a beater "fuck it I'll just grab the mossberg" gun.

    well the one that I bought has a composit stock and a metal trigger guard. From people at my local rang say that its a good gun for the price. blkgs4 what did you pay for your 835?

    Ok that one doesnt sound too bad, Im just no impressed with ours :o

    Yeah mine has a composite stock as well as a metal trigger guard...
    I paid $180 used for mine. I think paid a bit much for a used shotgun, but we were going down to south Georgia that weekend for a turkey shoot and I didn't want to take my Benelli.
