Morning routine?

    Usually for me:

    1. Wake up
    2. Smoke ( :o )
    3. Eat breakfast / Take supplements
    4. Creatine
    5. Jog
    6. Energy Drink




    Now would it be smarter to do the jog prior to eating? :dunno: I don't usually get side aches or anything :dunno:

    5.Bike 7 miles (Mostly Hills)
    6.Drink lots of water and take Whey

    wake up 30 mns before I have to be at work

    brush teeth, put in contacts, get dressed

    take fish oil pills with glass of OJ while preparing ground turkey or tuna for my snack or lunch

    prepare breakfast shake and begin drinking when I walk out the door


    get to work 7 minutes late

    how do you guys handle doing cardio in the mornings? If you're sleeping 8 hours, working 8 hours, commuting or eating lunch for ~an hour, that leaves you with 7 hours of free time per day... You really wake up 2 hours before work to do all this shit, get home, and then go to bed 5 hours after you finished work?

    Yes, people really do that.

    Yes, it is that important to a lot of people.

    No, I wouldn't do it unless I was getting on stage. I'd jut do cardio post w/o and save time since the fact is is that you're essentially doing the same exact thing by doing cardio post w/o than if you did it in the AM.

    Im up by 5AM out the door by 745 to make it to work by 8. I usually leave a 5, in the gym by 530, done by 630-645. In bed by 930-10.

    Take a caffeine pill + 2 green tea extract capsules + Bunch of Water
    Workout
    Post workout Meal: Sweet Potatoes Baby Food + 1 scoop whey + 5g creatine + Bunch of water
    Shower/Shave/Look Decent/Change
    Breakfast: 1 cup oats + blueberries + cinnamon, 3 whole eggs - scrambled, 2-3 hard boiled egg whites, 1/2 banana/1/2 grapefruit, some cherries and strawberries + Pills: Fish Oil, Multivitamin, Flax
    Pack meal(s) for work

    Not sleeping 8 hours is a good start :mamoru:

    Im usually up at 0530, running from 0550-0600 for 30-40 minutes, if im feeling really good I'll do circuit training for an hour instead, get back in, shower, go eat at the mess, by this time its ~0730 and usually I'll chill for a bit and go in at about 0830.

    It also helps that im military and PT is a part of my job, so it can eat up a good part of the work day :bowdown:

    Im good with 6 hours a night, I'll sleep in on the weekend if necessary.

    wake up 4:50, stretch 4 mi run.
    breakfast shake

    be at work by 6:30
    10:00am--meal
    2:00pm--meal
    work 10 hours.

    Gym @ 4:45-5
    home 6:30-6:45
    Shake
    8:30-9:00 meal (and prepare tomorrows food)

    10-11 beddy-bye time.

    (cardio tues, wed, thurs of work week, and weekends.)

    Thats a delicious shake! Replace 1 scoop of whey with 1/2 carton of eggwhites (120 cals 24grams of protein) and it would be even better, more of a meal with same macros.

    trick is to use just the right amount of ice, too much and its just slush and doesn't mix with the shake, just enough and it basically becomes a milk shake.
