Friend of mine is selling more of his childhood and had me shoot a few more. Plus some other ones I dunno if I posted or not.

    - Custom built lightbox w/2 dish lights (100w 6,500k CFC bulbs)
    - Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8
    - Canon XT or T2i

Actually handling them makes you yearn for when toys were built pretty durable. The older transformers were metal with plastic. New ones are all plastic and feel brittle.

Yeah the transformers I had when I was a kid mid-late 80's were awesome.

This guy was my favorite one I had

    Ok, here's what I did:

    (3) 18"sq pieces of white lexan (scrap from a sign shop if you can)
    (2) 20"sq pieces of white gatorfoam
    (6) cabinet door magnet kits (try for white to make it less visible)
    (2) dish lights w/clamps
    (2) bulbs. I found the nVision CFC's from Home Depot throw bright, clean light. These are the 100w 6,500k variant.
    (1) yardstick
    (1) piece white cardboard stock for infinity plane

The thing I wanted most from this was portability and ease of storage. Using the magnets you can easily break this down and fit everything into a cheap portfolio carrier and toss the lights into a duffel bag. The magnets are strong enough to keep the piece secure but easily disconnect w/out tearing the gatorfoam (I used crazy glue to affix). Whole thing weighs about 5-8lbs I'd say. I went with gatorfoam for the back and bottom because it keeps down the weight and you wouldn't be shooting light through it.

Sure beats my first hack at it. I would use paper from my sketchbook and hold a port-a-trace box above it while the camera was on a timer.

    So like this:

Then clean it up to this:

And yes, I believe you can see the monitor bezel through the paper. lol. Terrible.

Dinobots are sold. Dunno what else he has exactly because there had to be 100+ transformers in these bins.

I can PM you his email if you want to ask him directly.

I sold Optimus Prime opened w/ a box for 250 bucks during the release of the first movie.

If you have the trailer, might not be a bad I dea to show it also, since the new optimus's do not have trailers no more
