First my last target it wasn't very good in my opinion but in my defense all I have is crappy range bags. Shot from a bench front + rear bags last week

    Criteq welcome
I shot some out @ 50 nothing very impressive I got some good groups right before it started raining but most of them were stringers so i didn't bether to retrive the paper considering it was raining. One of these days ill get a 50 yrd target for everyone to make fun of

If anyone is capable of measuring groups on a computer screen I belive they scanned at actual size.

Check the dime to make sure?

Id be appreciative if you could measure my top 3 or 4 groups

I have a larger youth Anschutz that Ive had since I was 10. I put a 3-9 Simmons scope on it with extra high rings so I can see the irons yet. Im pretty happy with the accuracy. Although I need to get an extra thick butt pad to get rid of the ridiculous recoil :mamoru:
Just kidding I need it to have the gun feel right, since Ive grown in the last 10 years

    My Anschutz:

I also want to find a large magazine. Im getting sick of reloading after every 5 shots

Im kind of wishing I had went with a bolt action .22 over the Ruger.

I get a good group going sometimes have a flyer and end up dumping the magazine ala fast as i can because im frustrated.

Plus automatics arent exactly known for their accuracy

Started off as a carbine. All thats left un fooled around with is the bolt and receiver.

Has a boyds " ross " thumbhole stock <--- second best bang for buck
E.R. Shaw 18 " bull barrel <--- Not a bad barrell kind of wish I went with whistle pig for weight ( fucking gun is heavy ) Barrel weighs like 4.5 pounds
Weapon Craft recoil buffer <--- no more clack
Volquartsen seconds target hammer <--- Best bang for buck
auto bolt release <--- Not worth it I still release manually out of habit
extended magazine release <--- worth it weight in gold for fingures
Free floated barrel ( will be bedded soon )
Polished stock sear, disconnecter, guide rod, etc <--- Didnt do shit
    Merek 3-9X40 scope

I think if I get a new rifle sometime in the near future Ill get a Remington 700. I think they have cheap 700s for around 600 to 700

can get them in pawn shops for around 350 if your a good hagler. I've got about 500 invested in this so far including original purchase price of 185 dollars and change.

I may end up selling this 10/22 to finance a handgun or Ar-15 before the Nazi's take office. Im sure the ruger 10/22 is safe from any legislation. Therfore I can always build another.

Getting a handgun that can hold more than 10 rounds is another story as is an Ar-15 both of which I want.
