Went back out last night to play around with some different things. The first is the bridge that I always go back to, so sorry for always posting it:

Waterfall at High Falls Slow Shutter - I think it's a bit blown out where the mist is:

Same waterfall, but this one I did a slow shutter speed while zooming out.

I know that last one isn't the greatest, but It's experimental. Let me know what you guys think. :hsd:

I like #1, #2 needs some contrast, #3 looks fun but would need a lot of light at a rear curtain sync to be able to keep it looking good.

haha which place? High Falls or Corn Hill by the bridge? High Falls is awesome at night in the Spring/Summer when they do laser light shows there.

If it was in Rochester, then High Falls is the place. I don't know of any other places around that do laser light shows.

I'm surprised no one has noticed the shitty "tear" look in the first image. When Photoshop merged them, it created that and didn't even notice until last night.

The 20 sec exposure of the water fall would be cool if it could be a 1 sec exposure or around there, but that would require more light. Try that one as the sun is setting sometime. Its getting to much mist and losing contrast in the mist. Its not blown just smeared.

I could try it out some time. I think that looking at the waterfall is facing north, so it might not look as good, but I could certainly try it.
