Unfortunately I also now have a sharp pain from where the chest and biceps meet.
I was trying to do more one arm pushups at home when I felt it. Anyone experience this before? I can fel it even now when I just flex my biceps. :(

Try this. Can you bring up your arm with palm facing upward? Flex your bicep while you are doing this. If it does hurt, it may be a train or a possible slap lesion. Been there and done that. Hopefully for your sake I hope its nothing.

A little pain. That same movement was actually worse yesterday and the day before. I did do some floor presses today anyway and stil went pretty heavy though I avoided going for a max.

How long did it take you to recover?

    Thanks for bumping, Pogovina.

Well I had to have surgery because a slap lesion is a labral tear of the muscle. I worked out with the tear for over a year and didn't know it was torn. It took 4 months to get back into the gym.

Lower back problems from deadlifting? Or are you talking about the elbow pain? I started feeling them from whenever I did deadlifts before the single arm pullups though the dragon flag also aggravated them.

You do understand that doing these exercises is to me the same as someone trying to reach 1500 total in the bench, squats and deadlift. We need to challenge ourselves .

I do agree though that if it is aggravating an injury, it would be stupid to continue doing.:)

Were there any symptoms? Bruising, discoloration???

How did you finally get it checked?

Symptons were sharp pains when I would do any type of pressing movements. Especially flat bench. I would get a popping when I would rotate my shoulder around, you know how people do shrugs the wrong way. I finally got 2 cortizone shots and physical therapy, none of which helped, then i got an xray. SHowed there may be a problem. Got an mri and that was the end of it. My right arm is still less defined and weaker than my right from surgery and that was almost 2 years ago.:wtc:
