Ill preface this by saying im an uber-noob at setting up websites. I wanted a forum for my town, which did not have one. So i bought a domain and installed the phpbb software at that location. So when you go to www.exampleforum.com the forum is there.

Im having problems with cookie setting, more than one user is experiencing double logins, and the new post markers not showing up. Is there anyway that these could be addressed? I currently have the default cookie settings, but maybe something was messed up b/c of the way my forum is set up? Thanks for helping

and a big thanks to Thomor25 who has been incredibly helpful setting up my forum

There's a possiblity that the software is treating exampleforum.com and www.example.com as 2 different sites.

If you have access to your .htaccess file, try adding these 2 lines

    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.exampleforum\.com
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.exampleforum.com/$1 [R=permanent,L]

But does the forum software think so? or have you set it up so that cookies are treated that way?
