UL-vs-TTU. It wasnt really a game. More like a slaughter. I was only able to stay for the fiirst half. Tried shooting tighter. Still learning how to catch some certain shots. I get mad at myself for not doing as well as Id like but then realize the people Im comparing myself to do this for a living and have probably shot close to thousands of games while Im still in the single digits.

I'm not an expert so I don't know if thats too tight or not. Looks like you got some good shots showing the action and expressions. I like them.
I've took shots at amature baseball games a couple of times and at least its slower paced. I can only imagine how fun it is to shoot a football game.

haha Im far from an expert myself. Just experimenting and learning really. It is very fun to shoot sports from the sideline. Sometimes you find yourself watching the game instead of shooting.

I do. I like how powerful the back looks and that you can tell that the defender has no chance to stop him.

In sports pictures, I really am drawn to the ones where you can see the competition that takes place and how the players deal with it.

You have a couple like that, but you can really picture the back just ripping that guys arm off on his way through in this one...

Was this pretty well lit? Seems like daytime to me or did you process it? Sorry I'm not a sports fan so I don't even know who's playing:) I think it would be fun to shoot a football game.

good job getting the eyes and faces exposed under the helmets and facemasks

however, the moment and timing still feels flat.

shooting tighter and being patient for 'peak action' will help the photos be more engaging

I like this one, it sucks you right into the action.
